Learn to sew or knit with Linda and the team at Timaru Sewing Centre. Our classes are run right here in our in-store classroom, in small friendly groups, and are a great way to build confidence with a new skill or pick up a project you've always wanted to try.
Our dressmaking classes run all year round, with six sessions held each week during the school term. Whether you're picking up a needle for the first time or already have some sewing experience, you'll get plenty of one-on-one help working on your own projects.
Knitting classes are regularly held on Friday mornings — a relaxed, friendly session to learn new techniques or get help with whatever you're working on.
Our school holiday sewing and craft classes for kids are always popular — a fun, hands-on way for children to try sewing and finish a project of their own during the school holidays. Places are limited, so get in early.
We also run classes covering patchwork, overlocking, general craft, and getting to know your sewing machine — a great option if you've just bought a new machine or want to build on a particular skill. Ask in-store or get in touch for upcoming dates.
